It   is located in the east of Linhai City. It is the seat of Toumen Port Economic   Development Zone. Under its jurisdiction, there are two directorial areas and   42 administrative villages. The population here is 58 thousand. It covers an   area of 128 square kilometers, of which, 63.7 square kilometers are sea area.   The town enjoys convenient transportation. It is only half an hour by car   from urban area of Taizhou City. Jinhua—Taizhou Railway, Coastal Expressway,   No.83 Provincial Road, No.74 Provincial Road run across the area. It has the   reputation of Town of Pterosaur, Town of Chinese Chess, Town of Broccoli,   Town of Chinese Folk Culture and Art. It is a town strong in sports. In   recent years, taking advantage of coastal development and its regional   advantages, the town pays special attention project construction. The   industry development in the area shows very great momentum. In 2017, the   industrial product amounts to 29.49 billion Yuan RMB(about USD 4.5 billion),   with an increase of 85.5%. The tax totals 1.17 billion Yuan RMB(about USD 180   million), with an increase of 209.4%.
