It   is located in the east of Linhai. It is titled National Key Town, Taizhou   Central Town. It was accommodated in 2001 on the basis of Taozhu Town,   Dongyang Town and 27 administrative villages of Lianpan Township. There are   five neighborhood offices, 80 administrative villages. The population here is   98 thousand. It covers a land area of 129 square kilometers and a sea area of   over 600 square kilometers. The coastline meanders 30 kilometers long. The   town abounds in tourism resources. There are National Geo-park and national   scenic area here. It is called “land of fairies”, “the most beautiful area in   south-east China”, “Natural Geo-museum”. Agriculture, industry, and commerce   enjoy a coordinated development. Its agriculture is highly industrialized. Its   fishery is prosperous. In 2017, industrial product amounts to 555 million   Yuan RMB(about USD 86 million). The tax totals 50.29 million Yuan RMB(about   USD 8 million), which increased 25.9%. The wholesale, retailing, living, and catering   total 316 million Yuan RMB(about USD 49 million). The export amounts to 235   million Yuan RMB(about USD 36 million).
