It was accommodated in 2001. It is located in the   central area of Linhai City and the provincial-level Economic Development   Zone. It covers an area of 42.5 square kilometers. In 2017, the   gross industrial product amounts to 10.1 billion Yuan RMB(about USD 1.6 billion).   The industrial investment totals 820 million Yuan RMB(about USD 130 million).   The non-industrial investment totals 3.09 billion Yuan RMB(about USD 480 million).   The tax amounts to 1.61 billion Yuan RMB(about USD 250 million).
