It   is located in the south-west of Linhai. It is 12 kilometers away from the   city area of Linhai. It is the seat of former Huayuan District. It faces   Changtan Reservoir of Huangyan at south and adjoins Kuocang Mountain National   Forest Park at west. It is the birthplace of Weixing Group. It covers an area   of 135 square kilometers. It has 39 administrative villages. The population   here is 26 thousand. The town enjoys beautiful rivers and mountains. There   are tourism areas as Qizhetan Waterfall, Ecological Bamboo Park, 3A national   scenic areas Jiangnan Grand Canyon and Xiazhang Scenic Spot. It leads the   whole Linhai in all-area-advancing tourism. It is called “Back Yard Garden of   City”. It has been titled National Ecological Town, National Beautiful   Environment Town, Zhejiang Town Strong in Tourism, Zhejiang Model City for   Urban Comprehensive Improvement, Zhejiang Model Town of Beautiful Townships   and Villages, Zhejiang Model Town for Leisure Agriculture and Countryside   Tourism. It is listed in Zhejiang First Batch Tourism Town Cultivation List. In   2017, the industrial product amounts to 1.786 billion Yuan RMB(about USD 272   million). The tax totals 121 million Yuan RMB(about USD 19 million).
