It is located at the east of Datian Plain. It is titled Zhejiang Central Town. It covers an area of 165 square kilometers. It has 63 administrative villages. The population here is 65.6 thousand. It is one of the origins of Taizhou Buddhism and Taoism. There are 11 cultural protection sites at county level. A 141-year-old citizen named Wang Shifang living in the Qing dynasty from this town once was awarded an inscribed board by the emperor Qianlong of the Qing dynasty. Seventeen generals, such as Wang Wenqing, Zhou Zhirou, and so forth, served the Republic of China. Eight generals were from a village named Linggen, hence the village was called Village of Generals and titled China Traditional Village and Zhejiang Historical and Cultural Village. There are over 400 companies. The three mainstay industries are holiday lamps, leisure products, building materials. It is China Holiday Lamp Production Base and China Leisure Products Base. In 2017, the industrial product amounts to 7.1 billion Yuan RMB(about USD 109 million). The tax totals 260 million Yuan RMB(about USD 40 million). The export totals 1.44 billion Yuan RMB(about USD 222 million).
