It   was accommodated in the spring of 1988. It gets its name for the bridge   locating somewhere between Linhai and Huangyan. During flood seasons, water   will flow from Liangjiang River to the bridge. The town covers an area of 53   square kilometers. It has 31 administrative villages. The population here is   20 thousand. In the area there are such Taosim resorts as Gaizhu Mountain,   the birthplace of Chinese Taoism Tea Culture, Gaizhu Cavern, the nineteenth   cavern of Taosim and the second immortal-dwelling place. Pharmaceutical and   chemical manufacturing, leisure product are the two mainstay industries.   There are 77 companies, of which, 12 are large industrial enterprises, one   listed company, that is, Huahai Pharmaceuticals. In 2017, the industrial   product amounts to 5.74 billion Yuan RMB(about USD 883 million), of which,   the large industrial enterprises accounts for 5.23 billion Yuan RMB(about USD   805 million). The tax totals 405 million Yuan RMB(about USD 62 million).
