It   is located at the adjoining point of three counties—Linhai, Tiantai, and   Xianju. It is the birthplace of the first shareholding company in China. It   is titled National Key Town, Zhejiang Central Town, Zhejiang Ecological Town,   Zhejiang Forest Town, Zhejiang Health Town. The town was accommodated in 2001   on the basis of Baishuiyang Town, Shuanggang Town, and Huangtan Township. It   covers an area of 217 square kilometers. It has three neighborhood offices,   122 administrative villages, and one community. The population here is 105   thousand. Its history is long and its scenery is beautiful. “Huangsha Lion”   has been listed in National Intangible Cultural Heritage List. Anji Hill   Paragliding Base in Baishuiyang was awarded excellent item for 2017 Zhejiang   Sport, Recreation, and Tourism. Dinggongyuan Village is titled Zhejiang 3A   Scenic Village. Xiyang Village and Qiantang Village are titled National   Traditional Village. In 2017, its industrial product amounts to 2.052 billion   Yuan RMB(about USD 316 million). The tax amounts to 78.2 million Yuan   RMB(about USD 12 million). The export totals 301 million Yuan RMB(about USD   46 million).
