Linhai has been titled National Advanced Sport County,   National Advanced Mass Sport Collective, Zhejiang Province City Strong in   Sport. In Linhai, there are 19 Zhejiang Towns Strong in Sport, 491 Zhejiang   Villages of Sport, 22 Sport Squares, four national level youngsters’ sport clubs,   12 provincial level youngsters’ sport clubs, three national level training   bases(sepak takraw in Taozhu Middle School, track and field in Taizhou Junior   Middle School, cricket in Shaojiadu Middle School). Ultimate Tsaigu in   Kuocang Mountain was listed in 2016 Zhejiang Top 10 Commercial Sport   Contests. Anji Hill Paragliding Base in Baishuiyang was awarded Excellent Item   for 2017 Zhejiang Sport, Recreation, and Tourism. Ever since 1998, athletes   from Linhai have won 15 gold medals, six silver medals, 12 bronze medal in   international contests, 71 gold medals in national contests, 286 gold medals   in provincial contests. In 2017, sport lottery sales reached 103 million Yuan   RMB(about USD 16 million).
