It   adjoins Taizhou City. It has the reputation of “South Gate of Linhai”. In   2002, it was accommodated on the basis of the former Shuiyang Town and   Hongguang Town. It gets its name from being alongside the Lingjiang River. It   covers an area of 87 kilometers. It has 46 administrative villages. The   population here is 49 thousand. National road, provincial road, expressway, and   railways run across the area. There are two expressway exits here. It is only   one kilometer away from the railway station. There are over 400 companies   here, of which, 34 are large industrial enterprises. Its mainstay enterprises   include plastic products, molds, machinery, and bathroom wares. Modern   logistics industry is developing rapidly. In 2017, the industrial product   amounts to 4.66 billion Yuan RMB(about USD 717 million), of which, large   industrial enterprises accounts for 2.18 billion Yuan RMB(about USD 335   million). The investment in the fixed assets amounts to 2.26 billion Yuan   RMB(about USD 348 million). The tax totals 187 million Yuan RMB(about USD 29   million).
