It   is located in the old area of the city. It enjoys a history of nearly two   thousand years. Here, you can find: well preserved Taizhou City Wall(National   4A Scenic Area); valuable Qi Jiguang’s Military Achievements Stele and Tan   Lun’s Portrait Stele; Thousand-Buddha Tower(National Level Site Protected for    Historical and Cultural Value); well   preserved Ziyang Street(Famous Chinese Historical and Cultural Street);   Marshal’s Hall, which was built in the Ming dynasty and the only Ming-style building   of its kind left in Taizhou; Dacheng Hall, the largest single building, which   was built in the Song dynasty); Linhai Traditional Houses characterized by the   Taiping Heavenly Kingdom curtilages and Ming-style buildings; Jinshan Towers;   Longxing Temple; East Lake. In 2017, 1.67 million visitors visited this area,   increasing 16%. Tourism income totals 21.98 million Yuan RMB(about USD 3.5   million), increasing 11%. It has won titles as Top Ten Tourism Area by China   Tourism Union, Classical Tourism Area of Zhejiang Province, Culture and   Tourism Model Base of Zhejiang Province.
