Kuocang Mountain National Forest Park of China

In June 2017, Kuocang Mountain was titled National Forest Park   of China. The park covers an area of 2843.11 hectares and comprises of two   parts, viz., Mishailang and Yunfeng. There is one state-owned forest farm,   three towns or neighborhoods, six administrative villages here. The park is   rich with forest-related scenic resources. It is one of the seven key areas   in Zhejiang province for protecting diversity of rare or endangered plants. In   the park, there are 15 plant species under special state protection, 23   species under first class and second class state protection. Kuochang   Mountain is the place in China which received the first ray of sunshine in 21st   century. The highest peak Mishailang, which is the highest in south-east   Zhejiang province, is 1382.4 meters above sea level. On the top, there are such   sceneries as sunrise, sea of clouds, rime, and so forth. There are also 35   wind driven generators which are as tall as 45 meters. It is a wind power   plant with the highest relative altitude in the world.
