Niutou Mountain Tourism Area

It   is located in the east of Linhai. It covers an area of 27.8 square   kilometers. The area is eight kilometers away from Linhaibei Exit of   Ningbo-Taizhou-Wenzhou Expressway. It combines natural scenery, Linhai folk   customs, sightseeing, recreation, and sports.

Linghu   Lake Scenic Area is an important part of Niutou Mountain Tourism Area. It   covers an area of 4.7 square kilometers. The area covered by water is 1.2   square kilometers. The lake is the biggest ecological man-made lake in   Taizhou. The average depth of the water ranges from 3.5 to 4 meters. Ever   since 2003, nine key scenic spots as Sailing Shadow, Inviting the Moon, Meandering   Lakeside, and so forth, have been accommodated. The 5-Arch Bridge in the area   was built in the Ming dynasty. It is the only 5-arch stone bridge in Linhai.   Its length ranks first among the ancient bridges in Linhai. The bridge is   listed in Zhejiang Ancient Bridges List. It is a site under Zhejiang province   protection. In 2017, the lake area was upgraded and refined through several   projects. The area has been titled People’s Model Habitat Environment of   China prize. The Inviting the Moon scenic spot has been titled Zhejiang   Province Cultural and Innovative Block and has won gold prize for Zhejiang   Province Gardening Engineering. It is on the way to National 4A Scenic Area.   It is helping Niutou Mountain Tourism Area to be a high quality ecological   tourism area targeting Yangtze River Delta market.
